Making it’s worldwide debut at the National Hobby Retailer’s Association Expo in Las Vegas, Venom Group International releases the world’s most advanced 1/8th scale radio controlled motorcycle, the Venom GPV-1.

Merging the design philosophies of real world GP race bikes and radio controlled models, the GPV-1 represents Venom Group’s most ambitious project in its sever-year company history. After passing Venom’s intensive design & development program, the Venom GPV-1 Race Bike hit’s the market in July featuring a combination of scale realism with composite materials and high performance handling not usually found in a ready-to-run model of this size or price category.

From the beginning, Venom set out to design a race level motorcycle that was highly tunable for R/C racers yet fun and easy to drive for beginners. To achieve this, Venom designed the GPV-1 around a hybrid carbon-glass chassis structure that offers fine-tuning of suspension while lending a compact, low center of gravity for easy handling. With the Venom VR3T 3-Channel Radio Transmitter in hand, experts and beginners alike are able to immediately take control of the motorcycle and drive it with confidence.

For a full list of details and specifications and to see more images and video of the Venom GPV-1 in action, visit Venom on the web at www.venom-group.com.

The Tour de Cure is a series of cycling events held in over 80 cities nationwide. The Tour is a ride, not a race; it features different route lengths from a leisurely 10-mile course to a demanding 100-mile journey. I have joined thousands of others to pedal in support of the Association’s mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

I am asking you to help by supporting my fund-raising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of more than 20 million Americans who suffer from diabetes and another 54 million people in the United States with pre-diabetes.

It’s fast and easy to support this great cause - you can make your donation online by going to my personal page below:
http://main.diabetes.org/goto/cfc

Any amount, great or small, helps in the fight against this deadly disease. I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress. If you want to do even more to help, please consider joining me in this great event. Our efforts will help set the pace in the fight against diabetes.

The Picoo Z (also sold under the brand name of Air Hogs Havoc Heli in North America as well as Honey Bee in Japan, China, and other countries) is a miniature remote-controlled 2 channel micro helicopter manufactured by Hong Kong based Silverlit Toys. In the US it is distributed by SpinMaster. The Picoo Z is the current holder of the Guinness World Record for the smallest remote-controlled helicopter ever built.

They have recently released 3 new helicopter models:

 Picoo Z Tandem Z

The helicopter has super wide infrared control, a built-in Li-Poly battery, trim control and durable body. It has sophisticated gyroscopic effect for stability and twin rotor blades that work in Tandem. It also has a unique roto-blade system for steady take off and it’s a 3 channel helicopter (forwards, backwards, left, right, up and down).

A normal charge of 20-25 minutes should give you a flight time of around 10 minutes, and this is done directly from the remote control (requires 6xAA batteries).

 Picoo Z 3 Channel Helicopter

The latest range from Silverlit is now with us and the range just keeps getting better and better. The 3 channel PicooZ, which is also known as the Uranus, Atlas and Tri-cooZ, gives you more control than its 2 channel predecessor. Where as before you could move up, down left and right, you also now control forward and backwards. This extra dimension gives the ability to hover which has been a frequent question from customers in our stores.

This helicopter still has super wide infrared control, a built-in Li-Poly battery, trim control and durable body (in fact it’s actually improved). It now has sophisticated gyroscopic effect for stability and an LED light to guide the way in low lighting conditions.

A normal charge of 20-25 minutes should give you a flight time of around 10 minutes, and this is done directly from the remote control (requires 6xAA batteries). The 3 channel PicooZ is available in 3 styles all on different frequencies.

 Picoo Z Mini Micron

Small just got a whole lot smaller with the PicooZ Mini Micron. No bigger than the length of a credit card the tiny remote control helicopter is even small enough to fit into a compartment under the remote!

It has super wide infrared control, a built-in Li-Poly battery, trim control and durable body. It is two channel helicopter which means you control the height with the left stick and direction with the right. Its design means that it is always flying forward. Also Known as the PicooZ MX-1 extreme, the miniature helicopter is easy to fly so is great for beginners and its size means it is suitable for small rooms.

A normal charge of 20-25 minutes should give you a flight time of around 10 minutes, and this is done directly from the remote control (requires 4xAA batteries).

Check your local hobby shops for availability!
