Part #: RDC30 V0
Cost: $245.00 (at time of this review)
The RDC30-V0 power converter from Rivergate converts 120 volts normal A/C to dual voltage D/C current.
The unit came packaged very nicely. There were very concise instructions and cautions included with the unit. Also, included was a registration card for your warranty. Rivergate Distributing warrants the unit for 2 years, but you MUST send the warranty card in!

Product reviewed: GS Storm 1/8th Scale RTR Buggy
Website: http://www.gsracing.com
I was seriously impressed with the quality of the buggy when I received it. It had gobs of aluminum, and was solidly built. Being kinda meticulous, I went through the buggy with a critical eye to start off.
The suspension settings were way off. Camber was about -10 degrees and the toe- in was just as bad. Five minutes with my RPM camber gauge and it was ready. I thought the suspension was a little soft for a 1/8th scale, so I slid in some 5mm spacers (included) on all the shock bodies.
The servo saver was adequate for the average person, but I tend to be hard on stuff, or have it break at the wrong time, so I added a large style, servo mounted servo-saver in addition to the factory one. The JR590MG steering servo was replaced with a Hitec HS5925MG for a little more steering speed.

Product reviewed: Prosilver S.I.B. Rebuildable stock motor.
Part #: EpS27

To the naked eye the Prosilver motors with S.I.B. Technology look like a standard Monster stock motor thats found in many stock class (27 turn) vehicles. S.I.B stands for “Self Inductance By-Pass”. It is technology only found on Prosilver Motors. By equipping a motor’s armature with semiconductors the inherent destructive arcing will be turned into useful torque. Expect 5 times longer run times between comm truing. Expect a 4% to 6% increase in torque and power. There are twelve inherent destructive arcs generated every revolution in these motors and SIB Technology puts them to work for you. In order to understand how it works we need to have an understanding of Lenz Law.

Product Reviewed: Sandhills Raceway Cells 6 and 4 cell packs
SRC P/N: GP336C170 and GP334C170
Upon arrival of the cells I was impressed their packaging in the “cell boxes”. Each package comes with 4 or 6 cells and the equivalent number of cell shrink wrap material cut individually for each cell and a SRC decal. I also found the cell labeling accurate and easy to comprehend. The shrink wrap is exceptionally nice!
