Ride have released this new air intake duct designed for shaft drive touring cars.

The air intake is molded of polycarbonate plastic and designed to scoop as much air to the electric motor as possible to help keep it cool.

They were nice enough to send us one of these interesting Air Scoops for review.

The instructions were all in Japanese so I was kinda winging it during the assembly process.

The Air Scoop comes as a single molded Lexan piece that has to be cut into two separate Air Scoops. We removed the Air Scoop from the package and began painting it.

After the paint dried we cut the scoops in two.

Installation was pretty simple. Using the enclosed double side foam tape we cut a few pieces and adhered the scoop to the side of the TC3 Chassis.
